Overview

Limited angle torque motors are designed for compact, open-loop or closed-loop servo applications requiring rotary motion within a limited angular excursion (under 180°). Unlike conventional brush and brushless motors, these torquers use a winding configuration that eliminates the need for commutation. This results in a simpler, more reliable system with fewer components that can wear or fail.
